What We Do
We do group formation sharing, trainings in different farming methods like vegetable farming and etc. in order to help prevent the famine from getting worse.
How we work
Many communities of Karamoja have never had a chance to hear the Gospel message. These unreached villages are isolated, sometimes insecure and hard to get to. But God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity, but of Love and of Power and a Sound Mind. We step out in faith to share the Good News of Jesus, and people respond as the Holy Spirit touches them. Through these outreaches, dozens of people have turned to Christ and committed themselves to follow Him. We now have four growing churches with new young pastors that we mentor and guide. God is doing a great thing!
Clide is in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While all that we do is to support the achievement of ending poverty (SDG 1), gender equality (SDG 5) sits at the heart of our programmatic ambitions and radiates throughout our work.
With Karamoja once again in violent turmoil, our peace-building efforts have been revived. We recognize the need for psycho-social transformation as well as concrete building of social capital through joint, cooperative dialogues and development activities.
