Goat and Sheep Distribution in Teso, and Karamoja
Livestock improvement was focused on the training of community Animal Health workers, women livestock keepers and farmer groups in partnership with the District production offices and other developmental partners in Teso and Karamoja, while observing standard operating procedures
Under goat revolving Livestock project, 103 local goats were distributed to widows, orphans and people living with HIV/AIDS, in Soroti in partnerships with the Baptists and Pentecostal Churches and a community of Lomoruchubae.
A total of 358 beneficiaries were trained on the Livestock management, faming and micro-enterprise development skills with a view to improve health of the Livestock and people, produce enough food for families and surplus boost family incomes.
